Global Process Engineer

Join our dynamic Science & Technology (S&T) team at PPG Aerospace in Mojave, California! We are currently seeking an experienced Global Process Engineer to contribute to our latest initiatives. As an important member of our team, you will report directly to the Global Process Engineering Manager, playing an important role in developing and optimizing global processes. This on-site position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate on projects, create efficiency improvements, and ensure the highest standards in aerospace manufacturing. Key Responsibilities

•             Support scale-up and process development for new aerospace products

•             Ensure product launches, meeting customer and business timelines

•             Bridge between new product development teams and manufacturing plants

•             Lead teams for process and product improvements

•             Establish standard work and best practices across global sites

•             Occasional domestic travel to PPG manufacturing facilities

•             Understand and comply with PPG, aerospace, and EH&S policies

•             Troubleshoot and resolve process and quality issues for existing products

Qualifications

•             One (1) years of work experience in the chemical industry or process engineering required

•             Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields required

•             Experience in quality tools including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and control plan preferred

•             Experience in coatings, sealants, and adhesives manufacturing preferred

•             Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Salary Range: $95,000 to $115,000 Depending on experience
